Typical New Jersey Lawmakers

Typical NJ politicians have passed yet another nanny law in Long Beach Township to raise more money for them to waste.

The township will now authorize its officers to take your money issue tickets for changing into and out of your wetsuit in public. They specifically stated that even changing in your van or car is illegal too. You must change in private permanent structure according to the new law. So that means you need to pony up the $1,000,000 to buy a house new the beach or changing in the ill maintained bathrooms with piss all over the floor they will provide.

I hope the police have more important things to do with their time than harass surfers now.

Been really busy..here is whats going on.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been super busy at work, traveling, surfing, and shaping.

The AB3 at Cardiff was rad. So many boards, so many people, so much to look at.

Im working on finishing a few more boards for the AB3 East, I will post up some pics when they are done.

Ice 9 Blanks

Sierra from Ice9 was up to NJ this week and was kind enough to give me a blank to test out. I've been hearing some really good things about their blanks as far as dent resistance goes and overall durability. They make a sugar based MDI blank thats friendlier for the environment than the more traditional TDI blanks. I'm going to glass this one super light, single 4oz bottom and deck with Resin X. Word is they are as strong as a normal board with a double 4oz deck. We shall see, I'll keep you posted.

Josh Hall emailed me some pictures and I thought they were pretty neat and I wanted to share. Its nice to see people doing some different stuff. Hopefully Josh will send more pictures of his boards, he shapes some clean lines.
